I am Colin, I was born in a farm cottage at Wardsbrook Farm, Ticehurst in 1947, where my father worked for many years. Married to Pauline, we have a son and daughter and three grandchildren and one great granddaughter, we moved to Etchingham in 1984, I worked for nearly 20 years as a department manager for Sainsbury’s, from the late 1980’s until I retired I was self employed in painting & decorating and general maintenance.
I was elected to Etchingham Parish Council in May 2007 and re-elected at subsequent elections, my main roles with the council are Police Liaison and Community Safety, in recent years I have been registered with the Envitronment Agency to receive flood warnings and alerts which I pass on to village residents. I am the co-ordinator for the village Speedwatch group, I look after the admin on the Parish Council website and social media accounts.
